JE Dunn made a significant investment in developing its own proprietary construction technologies to aid in the collaborative process of building and provide tangible value to building owners. Through paperless technology we have saved over $10 million on the Collaborative Life Sciences Building (CLSB) project - simply by reducing paper waste, postage, time/labor, and duplication of documents. We used these metrics and the following pitch points to formulate multiple stories (pitched, bylines, and interviews):
It takes green sustainable technology to build projects that are also sustainable. We call this the “green cycle”.
Through our construction technology and BIM in the cloud functionality on Dunn Dashboard (where all users have access to the BIM model in a Revit viewing pane), we successfully built the LEED Platinum, award-winning CLSB, as well as several other LEED Platinum labs.
We pitched to several leading industry trade publications and had success with articles in Building Design + Construction, Laboratory Design, Construction Superintendent, Tradeline, and Fast Company.
We produced a client Groundbreaking magazine focused entirely on the Science & Technology market and our construction technology as applied to that market that we mailed to 15,000 clients and potential clients.
And finally, we developed a high quality, nationally-focused technology video to showcase our proprietary technologies as used on LEED Platinum science and technology lab projects. We used this video as pitch piece for conferences, articles, media, pursuits, and more, so the $6000 investment was well worth it to tell the story to media and beyond.
