For National Clean Energy Week 2024, KWRE designed an interactive road trip game campaign, taking audiences on a journey through renewable energy challenges and innovations. Each stop featured game cards showcasing a KWRE project or highlighting regional energy challenges and solutions.
The Map (The Plan) – We charted five regional stops across the United States to boost engagement, showcase KWRE’s national presence, and attract new work.
The Snacks (Marketing Objectives) – Every road trip needs snacks! Our goals:
- Boost interaction across social platforms.
- Increase brand awareness by highlighting KWRE’s nationwide presence.
- Secure one new client or project while educating audiences.
Game Cards (Execution Tactics) – Each post featured game cards with project or region highlights brought to life through animations, infographics, and engaging content.
Power-ups (Charging up the Campaign) – We amplified our impact by spotlighting our CEO’s appointment as Chairman of American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of California’s newly formed Energy Committee.
Winning the Game (Results + Lessons Learned) – Every great game has twists! While we fine-tuned our approach along the way, we walked away with major wins:
- 9,352 total views and increased LinkedIn followers by 5%.
- Three times more proposals in the month following the campaign.
- High-quality graphics & video templates that became the foundation for future campaigns.
With KWRE in the driver’s seat, this road trip game solidified our role as a national leader in renewable energy—ready for wherever the next project takes us!
