McKim & Creed is an employee-owned firm fostering an entrepreneurial atmosphere that empowers every employee. The firm's leaders are honest and transparent, sharing the firm's financial stability and health with employees annually.
Historically, the internal MarCom team has written, designed, printed, and distributed the firm’s annual report. With the number of our field staff employees increasing year over year (employee breakdowns | office total: 421 + field total:442), the team was faced with a new challenge. How to distribute the annual report to every employee in both print and digital formats.
With over half of our employees working in the field, others working on a hybrid schedule, and the rest returning to our physical office locations, our team took a hybrid approach to the delivery of this year’s Annual Report.
The annual report recognizes employee accomplishments, communicates our business' health, and is used to recruit new employees to the firm. With a new digital format, the HR team could email prospective and new employee-owners a digital version to support recruiting and onboarding. The digital format was accessed by over half of our total employee population which means we successfully achieved our goal of reaching our remote/field employees. In addition, our firm saw an increase of 71.5% increase in stock purchases as a direct result of the transparency regarding our firm’s health.
