Creative Brief
Early in 2020, a few likeminded people at Iron Woman gathered in a room to sift through a pile of donation requests. The list was daunting. It quickly became apparent that a plan, guiderails with a purpose, was needed. And thus, Iron Woman’s Corporate Social Responsibility committee was born. What we didn’t know then was how impactful the efforts would be to our employees, as well as the community, as the pandemic shook the world off balance.
Iron Woman’s Corporate Social Responsibility program became a place of connection for our employees. We bonded over volunteer opportunities with Habitat for Humanity, saw purpose with donation matching programs, and strengthened our team with health and wellness activities. The document in this submittal is the summary of that effort. The piece showcases the active work in maintaining togetherness in a time we were all forced to be apart. This is not a report. It is a celebration.
Iron Woman’s Corporate Social Responsibility committee is a winner in the Internal Communications category because it recognizes the philanthropic, community-oriented nature of the Iron Woman team. The program was people-driven and could not have taken root without the dedication of employees whose work truly goes above and beyond. This award would be an opportunity to celebrate a truly unique and impactful internal business initiative that was visioned by employees for the sake of doing good and reflected in the values of the company.
