2025 Call for Nominations Opens January 2

The SMPS Marketing Innovation Firm of the Year Award recognizes an A/E/C firm that generates and implements innovative marketing communications ideas, processes, programs, and/or services that help transform their firm or industry and encourage marketing innovation and adaptation to stay ahead of the competition.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Firm must have three or more current SMPS members employed at any location.
  • Must be a firm that’s in the architectural, engineering, and/or construction industries.
  • Firm must demonstrate measurable results from their innovative marketing accomplishments that are worthy of distinction
  • Firm must have a project that has been recognized for its excellence in marketing and/or communications at the SMPS chapter, regional, or Society level marketing communications awards type competition in the past 5 years.
  • Must be nominated by SMPS member; submissions are to be completed by members on behalf of their firm.

Award and Ceremony
The winner will be announced and honored at Amplify A|E|C, the Society’s annual conference, which will be held from August 6–8, 2025 in Columbus. The winner will receive an engraved award and three discounted registrations for Amplify A|E|C 2025.

Application fee:  A non-refundable fee of $100 must be submitted with the application. 

Deadline: Submit your application no later than 11:59 pm EST on May 1, 2025.

Nominations will be evaluated during May. Nominees will be notified of the status of their application by June 2, 2025.

 Kleinschmidt Associates Named 2024 Marketing Innovation Firm of the Year


SMPS is pleased to announce that Kleinschmidt Associates has been honored with the 2024 Marketing Innovation Firm of the Year Award. Team members GinaRenee Autrey, Russ Sanford, FSMPS, CPSM, Taylor Giogaia, Jillian Cromer, and Deborah Rosenberg from Kleinschmidt accepted the award during Amplify A|E|C, the Society’s annual conference, on July 25, 2024, in Salt Lake City, UT.
