FOX had an opportunity to realize a strategic vision we had conceptualized years ago – combine our DC and Virginia offices into one. A combined office would support our firm’s goal to design projects where we could seamlessly offer multiple disciplines to improve the overall design of our projects and bring added value to our clients. To bring this type of service to our clients, we needed a space where we could come together as “One FOX” to interact, share ideas and coordinate the great work that we do. In August, the firm moved its offices to the West End of DC.
The goal of this campaign was to ensure that clients, vendors, and staff were informed of the firm’s move, and understood why the firm was moving (i.e. “One FOX”), where it was moving ("One BOX") and when.
Staff were armed with a toolkit of resources to help them get ready. The toolkit included: FAQs, a countdown checklist, talking points, email signatures, customizable emails, among others. They also received ongoing communications – email and in-person.
External groups were notified via social media, emails and mail. A branded storefront sign was also displayed in the windows of the new office.
Once in the new office, staff were greeted with a “Welcome Kit,” that included an informational booklet, new business cards, and branded swag.
FOX celebrated the move with an open house reception. Invitations carried the theme. They were mailed flat, but when opened the invite “popped” into a box.
