Creative Brief
To better share information and best practices with employees in our offices across North America, we revived PCL’s employee magazine in April 2022 with a new name. The Build publishes twice a year – in both print and a digital edition on our company intranet – and is an essential part of PCL’s internal communications strategy. It celebrates our employee-owned culture by compiling stories about PCL initiatives, projects, awards and community partnerships. These story ideas come directly from district office marketing personnel, and our content marketing team works with them to put those ideas on paper. Whether it’s shorter stories in recurring sections of the magazine or longer feature articles, content in The Build allows employees to learn from each other’s successes and propel the company and its shareholders to new heights. The Build also advertises learning opportunities, including the E3 Leadership Program, which is open to all employees through intakes every May and November.
