Creative Brief
To capture the attention of future team members, we set out to create an engaging look into our team of civil engineers. In collaboration with Elevate Marketing Consultants, we created our “Day in the Life” video series. By focusing on the inner workings of our young professionals’ roles, these videos strategically weave together our culture and recruiting efforts while illuminating the work that defines us.
We created a realistic glimpse into the civil engineering world by showcasing the individual personalities and passion for TTL that our team members possess. As a result, we increased applications by 40%.
Video #1 focuses on a CAD technician’s gained knowledge from his time at with our firm.
Video #2 highlights a young environmental scientist passionate about changing communities.
Video #3 explains a civil professional’s love for mentoring and empowering his team.
Beyond career fairs, our videos became TTL's virtual ambassadors by visually articulating our dedication to innovation and excellence. They have sparked conversations, turning curious glances into genuine interest, and fostering meaningful connections with new candidates.
Our established goals and thorough, proactive research and planning led to a successful series, with one video receiving more than 22,000 views on YouTube alone. This series bolstered recruiting efforts by allowing a glimpse inside the firm to potential employees while connecting with clients/prospects in an authentic way. Distribution of the videos via multiple platforms (social media, QR codes, and internal newsletter) resulted in comments from job applicants and clients/prospects alike expressing positive feedback.
