Captivating content, an aesthetically pleasing layout, and the ability to capture both formal and informal content that unites our company is what makes the Pulice Report an award-winning publication. Pulice has been creating the Pulice Report for 36 years. Content within the newsletter includes project updates, company highlights, employee spotlights, messages from key leaders within the company, and more. This content is displayed in a magazine-style format that takes photos of heavy civil construction work to a new level. By distributing the Pulice Report both digitally and physically, we connect our headquarters in Arizona, our regional office in Texas, 12 project sites across Arizona and Texas, executives, craft personnel, and everyone in-between, bringing all of Pulice together around a shared purpose.
The goal for the newsletter is to engage employees from different regions while providing a sense of community and inclusiveness. With more than 600 employees across 2 states, we had to brainstorm a way to make everyone feel included whether working in the office or out in the field. First, we came up with engaging content and asked ourselves, “what do our people want to see?”. Our slogan at Pulice is, “Great People Build Great Things”, and after much consideration we realized our newsletter theme, “Great people deserve to be seen and recognized”.
Since the first newsletter, the publication has evolved into a multi-page magazine, and something employees look forward to reading quarterly. Even the past three newsletters included in this submission speak to its evolution.
