Designed for all career stages and departments, FLIGHT integrates HEAPY’s core values into a comprehensive personal/professional development framework, prioritizing a personalized approach to growth journeys and offering robust support for managers. Our meticulous planning and inclusive approach, spanning seven offices, ensured that the program resonated with our 230 colleagues.

Driven by colleague feedback, the FLIGHT program places colleagues at the center of their career journey and empowers them to take charge of their own path. Using a multifaceted communication strategy, including manager training, collaborative staff meetings, branded collateral, and digital channels, FLIGHT was more than a program—it was an experience. FLIGHT was designed with a flexible structure and a commitment to continual updates, including on-demand training modules, which ensures the program’s capacity to adapt and expand over time. Underpinned by comprehensive market research and internal data insights, notably from the Gallup Q12 survey, FLIGHT underscores our commitment to personalized and meaningful development.

The outcomes of HEAPY FLIGHT speak volumes. We achieved a 100% completion rate for colleague Objective, Key Results, and Initiatives (OKRIs), a significant improvement from previous inconsistencies. Our efforts were recognized through the esteemed Best Places to Work Award from Dayton Business Journal. Furthermore, our 91.9% retention rate, notably outperforming the industry average of 81%, is concrete evidence of our program’s impact.
