Creative Brief

Our entry, the PCL Cajun Classic, epitomizes the essence of community engagement and giving back. Initially conceived as a Northern Colorado Open House for subcontractors, the event transformed into a fundraising golf tournament and Cajun boil, benefiting Windsor Booster Club. The event's uniqueness enticed sponsors to attend support if they weren't golf aficionados. Event activations included a crawfish boil, cart decorating competition, awards, Bloody Mary bar, activated golf holes, selfie-station, and a performance by the Nuggets drumline. 

PCL's objective was centered on fundraising and demonstrating our commitment to philanthropy in the Northern Colorado Community. The event, in turn, elevated the Windsor Booster Club Organization, gathering more awareness for their mission and vision and increasing their reach. Windsor High School Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supporting Windsor High School Students involved in athletics and clubs. Their focus is to generate funds and support for athletic/club programs in need, support the WHS Hall of Fame program, and provide four annual scholarships to graduating seniors who participated in multiple sports seasons through the course of high school. A 2022 census study found that participating in extracurricular activities develops social skills, boosts self-esteem and resilience, and lower levels of risky behaviors. 

The Cajun Classic, an experience-driven event, catalyzed community-building, fostering relationships and creating lasting brand value. The Cajun Classic event represents an innovative approach to philanthropy, seamlessly blending community support and engagement.
