Creative Brief

Once the dust had settled, literally and figuratively, in the new Consor Portland office space, we were excited to host a proper open-house event for our clients and partners. Our team, known previously as three entities in the Portland engineering community – Murraysmith, Quincy, and Barney & Worth – merged with Consor in 2021 and relocated to a new office in 2022. With almost a year under the Consor brand and all working under one roof, we could showcase our new space and strengthen our ties with clients and partners—this was a chance to reintroduce ourselves and reaffirm our presence in the market. We needed to reconnect with clients in person after COVID and the merger with Consor to revive dormant relationships.

As a newly established national firm, we maintained a sense of local connection and preserved the unique Portland vibe in our client interactions. Our commitment to keeping every aspect of the event locally rooted, from the catering to the artwork to the sustainable swag, was a testament to our unwavering dedication to the community we’ve served for four decades. Moreover, we saw the event as an avenue to give back to local organizations that align with our brand's values.

Through our successful open house, we:

• Celebrated our new office and brand as a unified team with 125 attendees.
• Highlighted our new service lines and growing team for added project value.
• Reassured partners and clients we are the same local team who have partnered with them for 40 years.
