Creative Brief
Our Tiny Mic Interviews originated around the need to find a fun, interactive way to get to know our staff, increase video participation, and create a sense of camaraderie among our employees nationwide.
Our first series was based around our summer interns. In previous years, interns were asked during the last week with us to write a blog post about their internship experience. We wanted to be more proactive in highlighting student interns, so this year, we asked them questions to get to know them better throughout the first month of their internship. Tiny Mic Interviews - Summer Intern Edition was produced and released internally. The videos were wildly popular, with the initial video page getting over 570 views, well above our average of 107 views. These videos are now featured on our external website as a tool for intern recruitment.
Working off that success, we also created a Principals Edition to coincide with Bosses Day in October and a Holiday Edition in December to further showcase our staff and their personalities. And for the first time, when asked to participate in subsequent videos, our employees were excited to be featured! Our goal of engaging employees was achieved by having over 75% participation of those asked to be in the videos and highlight our Farnsworth Group staff and culture.
