Launched internally on Page’s intranet in July 2023, and externally in January 2024, The Good Room podcast delivers monthly episodes that answer, “What makes a room good?” – from classrooms to hotel rooms, courtrooms, and emergency rooms. Featuring nine markets and fourteen experts in the first seven episodes, its internal success laid the foundation for an impactful external debut. In the first month alone, it garnered nearly 500 listeners and 60 subscribers, reaching #17 on the Apple Podcasts: United States of America: Design list.
The Good Room transcends traditional design discourse by exploring what makes a space exceptional. Conceived as an internal resource to connect colleagues following a large-scale firm acquisition, it blossomed into a compelling external platform, captivating audiences with its interdisciplinary approach to design conversations while nurturing a more interconnected workplace culture at Page.
Each episode partners two Page experts from different disciplines or markets and invites them to share their perspectives on the intricacies of design, aesthetics, and functionality. This dynamic exchange of intersecting ideas fosters a deep curiosity about the nuances of design and how design choices intertwine to create immersive environments that tell stories and evoke emotions.
