Seventy-five business years is a milestone worth celebrating. Brown and Caldwell (BC) embarked on a journey that transcended mere nostalgia—through a special website homepage, timeline, social media, videos, custom swag, and conversations—we celebrated the essence of our people and clients while encompassing what drives us: community. Our theme, “Connecting Communities,” wove the threads of our past, present, and future into a tapestry of shared experiences and relationships beyond our organization.
- Purposeful Vision: Our celebration wasn’t just about looking back; it was about forging connections. Community, to us, means a deep sense of care and shared experiences. We leveraged a video format to connect communities of engineers, parents, and AANHPI.
- Strategic Execution: Our team of 10 invested three months crafting the 12-month campaign. We engaged the industry in conversation through 2 WaterXchange LinkedIn Live events featuring clients and a Flashback Friday social campaign.
- Inclusive Engagement: BC employees united attending internal events from small group Community Conversations sharing our legacy, to local office celebrations over food and drinks – the first since COVID. Digital assets, from email signatures, email templates, an intranet hub, and special 75th swag—created a personal way to empower our employees and business endeavors.
- Measurable Impact: Success wasn’t anecdotal; it was quantifiable. Our campaign exceeded our engagement goals and was 34% under budget. The celebration wasn’t just about the past; it cast a bold vision for the next 75 years.
