Since 2009 Lee Company has been an approved vendor for the State of Tennessee; this means state owned and ran facilities can call on us for HVAC, plumbing and electrical services. State contracts are very detailed, and after the initial roll-out to state employees, can only be found online. For the average facility manager this means not having easy access to the contract and potentially using vendors not approved by the state when there is a need. When the 2015-2020 contract was made public, we decided it would be helpful for decision makers at these facilities to have an easily accessible copy as well as detailed instructions to contact us when needed. We opted for a bound booklet, with reinforced tabs, easy to read font and maps, and easy to follow contact instructions. We also added a business card pocket to the cover to make it easy for sales people to leave contact information behind. Lastly, the digital version of the booklet is sent to customers following sales calls for easy access.
Ultimately our goal is to make it easier for all parties involved to access and use the contract, while generating additional revenue opportunities for our company. We have worked closely with the sales team on a roll-out schedule for all our customers within the 40 agencies under Statewide Contract 700.
Project cost: Design $1800 + Print $3600 + Management $800 = $6,200.
