We started to plan our 50^th anniversary celebrations years in advance. One of the largest components of the celebration was a commemorative book showcasing our people and projects. The 293-page book begins with our retired and current employee names along the endpaper. From there the book is divided into four sections:

History: Tells the story of Langan’s four founders cultivating close relationships with clients, keeping pace with industry developments, and grabbing every opportunity to find fresh, new solutions to old problems. They nurtured a culture at Langan that met and exceeded client expectations.

Growth & Expansion: How the firm welcomed every chance to engage in assignments and follow clients wherever projects led them, adding personnel and offices while taking measures to ensure that its culture would thrive and adapt to new circumstances.

Culture: Details what is at the heart of Langan - Technical Excellence, Practical Experience, and Client Responsiveness.

Portfolio: Broken into 22 subsections, the Portfolio showcases our projects from around the world in a variety of markets. There are more than 200 projects featured.

Given the changes 2020 brought with a global health crisis, retreat from the office, and calls for social justice, we produced a supplemental piece to accompany the book. The supplement details what Langan experienced in 2020 since the book was produced before any of that.

It is our hope that the book shows appreciation of the magnitude of this 50-year milestone, and gives thanks to all who have helped us get here.
