Creative Brief
The Shook Construction mission is "dramatically improving the communities we serve" and in 2019, we set out to carry that mission on a global scale by sending a team to Timusi, Bolivia to implement a new clean water system for the small village in the Andes Mountains. Upon successful completion of the mission trip, we needed to educate and excite our 6 regional offices on the success and value of the trip in order to encourage participation in future mission-related endeavors. The powerful video elictied heartfelt emotions, which demonstrated the impact this mission not only had on the small village but on the Shook associates that participated. As a result, viewers were woven into the narrative for how Shook can move forward with even more mission trips in the sectors that we build in: healthcare, education, industrial and water resources.
The video was used internally at open house events at each regional office where all Shook associates were invited for a video preview and an engaging Q&A session with the participants. Ultimately, several of our partners were informed of our efforts and the participants were asked to participate in two media interviews and a CEA podcast interview. These media efforts meant that what started as an internal communication ultimately lead to a great source of public relations for our firm and allowed us to further our messaging around what makes us different: improving the communities we serve.
