Creative Brief
After six months of planning, RS&H launched its Ignite Women’s Leadership Network in September 2019, which empowers women through an inclusive culture to advance the success of RS&H and our communities.
To build engagement and continue the network’s momentum, the team launched the first-ever, companywide volunteer campaign, partnering with Dress for Success. This international, nonprofit empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and life.
During two weeks in October, we challenged employees to donate their gently used (or buy new) career appropriate apparel, accessories, handbags and shoes.
The Ignite Communications Committee led communications and creative advertising for the event while the Ignite Office Champions Committee coordinated and collaborated with all offices.
Dress for Success posters were given to all RS&H offices to hang in common areas to raise awareness of the campaign. To encourage participation, enhance visibility, and draw attention, the team developed a nostalgic paper doll poster that featured laminated pieces of clothing with Velcro, such as pants, shirts, etc., for associates, sparking fun and creative engagement for the initiative. The committee also used RS&H’s social-sharing intranet to boost awareness and created similar graphics, gifs and other elements to present the campaign at a cohesive effort.
Due to the emphasis on communication, collaboration and creativity of the teams, in just two weeks, we donated 1,963 articles of clothing to Dress for Success – the network’s first successful outreach event.
