Creative Brief
Founded in 1980, FORGE, formerly FME Architecture + Design, has worked on some of the most unique and visually stunning projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, solving design challenges for both new developments and revitalized spaces.
The firm’s original owners – Fee, Munson and Ebert – had moved on to other endeavors and we found that the name FME no longer represented who we are as a company today. Consequently, our new identity as FORGE was born in March 2017.
Leading up to this change, and to determine the new name, we enlisted clients and industry contacts to serve on an advisory board to provide opinions on how they saw the firm. The decision was a direct reflection of those conversations, further highlighting our commitment to client interaction and participation.
Our new name, FORGE, encompasses all aspects of our business and is now reflected in our client interaction and internal culture. We are utilizing new and innovative approaches, to both creative and technical design, and to the changing needs of our business.
Since the rebrand, just over one year ago, FORGE’s revenue and reputation has continued to rise, and we’ve won several new clients as a result. We were also named by the San Francisco Business Times as one of 2017’s Fastest Growing Private Companies. We earned spot #79 on the coveted list 100 companies, many of which were tech.
Moving into 2018, we are in fact forging ahead and delivering on our brand promise.
