Because the intention of the program is to recruit the best in the industry, our current employee owners were heavily involved in the creation of the booklet. We worked very hard to ensure the message that came across was genuine regarding the way our people felt about the work they do, our organization as a whole, and the experience new employees will receive.
The booklet was divided into the four sections that we felt best represented what is important to our employees.
- Stability. Financial success and a strong history is the backbone of what makes our company a great place to work. These things allow our people to feel comfortable taking business risks and tapping into their fullest entrepreneurial spirit.
- People. We wanted to make one thing clear — we care about how you grow here. We invest in our people through training programs, industry connections and groups, and come up with real business solutions in our best practice groups, which are comprised of employees from every subsidiary office nationwide.
- Culture. Not only does being employee owned create a stronger identification between employees and the company, but it also translates to enhanced productivity. Team building and events keep employees around the country connected and ready for the next challenge.
- Performance. We build incredible things, and this section shows prospective employees what their future looks like here. In addition to meaningful work, project managers across the country shared why the projects they work on really make a difference.
