Creative Brief
In today's tight labor market, we made a focused effort to create a fun and memorable campaign that breaks through the clutter to recruit local students and recent graduates for internships and entry-level positions with our firm.
We were excited to see students face to face, for the first time since the pandemic started, so we wanted to make something special. We took the time to create a persona profile and thought about what type of giveaways a student might not only take but keep with them as a reminder of our firm. We also wanted a fun saying, to seem more approachable than your typical engineering firms. With that, "Hiring the Valley's Hottest Talent" was born.
The campaign consisted of custom hot sauces and waterproof stickers for the student's water bottles or laptops. For design, we incorporated branding using our ampersand inside the flame with more information about hiring on the backside. Needless to say, the hot sauces were a hit. Everyone stopped by our booth to check them out, even other companies attending the fair wanted to see them. We also collected email addresses and followed up with recruitment newsletters. We are pleased with the results of the campaign because we successfully recruited interns and one full-time employee from that event. We also ordered more hot sauces and stickers, and now take them to all recruiting fairs (they continue to be a huge hit!)
