Held on October 2, 2019, MBH Architects’ 30th anniversary was shared with the firm’s clients, employees, and the press through the creation of a comprehensive mixed media campaign. Highlighting a considerable professional milestone, the firm showcased both their impressive project portfolio and talented employees who work in their offices every day.
Kicking off the campaign strongly with a minimalist print advertisement in the San Francisco Business Times and carrying into a months-long social media endeavor, MBH’s 30th anniversary celebration emphasized nostalgic photographs of company outings, team building activities, and charity fundraisers. These images were paired with language that supported and highlighted the company culture and traditions of the firm.
For their social media campaign, MBH Architects shared images and insight that alluded to the firm’s long history of design excellence, focusing on the firm’s core values: collaboration, teamwork, family, friendship. Spread across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, each account’s lead banners were updated to align with the celebratory posts, newsletters, and the Anniversary Book, to create a cohesive design strategy surrounding the anniversary.
As a gift to MBH Principals, the marketing team put together an Anniversary Book of the company’s three-decade-long journey, with spotlights on MBH’s people, projects, clients, team initiatives, and other major milestones.
This collaborative initiative not only celebrated MBH Architects' 30th anniversary, but also served as a reminder of MBH’s vibrant company culture and core values. Through this campaign, the marketing team found an effective way to re-energize employees, leadership, and the media.
