Creative Brief
Creating cohesiveness of the Kinsley brand while allowing materials to stand out from other marketing pieces drove the design behind our recruitment and retention campaign. Throughout each piece, design has been simplified from outdated photo collages and crowded text to images of projects and current employees, bold colors and “you” language.
Beyond updating our current recruitment and onboarding materials, we surveyed current employees to learn what information they would have found useful during the interview and onboarding process. Employees noted that they would have benefitted from receiving more information about the company upfront and an outline of important events, goals and tasks they were expected to complete shortly after being hired. This feedback was used to help craft our company overview booklet that provides a look into a career at Kinsley and the personalized onboarding track that visually guides employees through their first few months.
Today, the unconventionally constructed folder with logo spot varnish, company booklet and benefits program guide are utilized in recruiting and interviewing to provide a high-level overview of life at Kinsley. On day one, employees are walked through the orientation and safety presentation and gifted their welcome box with their personalized onboarding track. Every few months, our team brings together new employees for a deep-dive into our company history through our Orientation 2.0 presented by our President and CEO.
This campaign has received fantastic feedback from our human resources team as well as potential and current employees.
